I admit this is the first time that I have truly understood HTML. In the past, since I am not really a "techie" or technology aficionado, HTML was just one of those computer terms lingering around. I have never really thought that I would have a chance to sit in a class where I will study HTML as a course.
The first four video tutorials are all helpful. First, in terms of organization, the contents are pedagogically sequenced such that a learner will start from simple to complex. Every new material is built upon the ones that have been made clear earlier. Second, the graphics used are also clear and simple, making is easier for a beginner to focus on just a few items at a time, very user friendly indeed. Third, the voice-over sounds professional. He speaks in well modulated voice and well articulated which makes it easy to comprehend the explanations and instructions. Lastly, the fifth video is meant to be read. The presentation is good but the preceding videos are much better because of the audio complement.
For the two Blog tutorials, the first one is for reading. It is a website teaching the HTML.It s also inn well written form which when read thoroughly is also comprehensible. The page design is simple which make the reading easy. The text font and graphics are appropriate for the topic. The ambiance of professionalism being the easiest to notice attracts me as a reader which I think other readers could also attest. On the other hand, the last tutorial, aside from being amateurish, sounds like the maker was just practicing the presentation. The audio is quite blurred since the speaker's voice is too soft. One has to turn up the volume to hear it. Also, since the speaker sounds to be an Indian national, his articulation is heavily accented which adds as barrier to the comprehension of the tutorial. Overall, I do not recommend this last material to others like me who need tutorial on the topic.
